Windows Internal Database

Windows Internal Database 是 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Embedded Edition (SSEE) 的替代名称，它是被用在微软内部的服务或组件中，存储必要资料的一种数据库，它与 SQL Server Express 相当类似，不过它只供给微软的软件自行管理，像是 Windows SharePoint Services 3.0、Windows Software Update Services 3.0 与 Windows Server 2008 均可以看到它的踪迹。
